Howard,

The speaker jack is on the front of the TS480, but it is under a 
piece of plastic which detaches from the front of the radio.  The 
piece is in the center of the front near the top, and under it you 
will find (from left to right) the speaker jack and the two DIN plugs 
for amplifier control and data.  The speaker jack is a 3/8-inch mini, 
and it is recessed, so when you first see it, you might not know what it is.
