Hi List,

I have received a quick reference guide for the TMV 7A. In most cases it is
very helpful. Maybe I'm just getting dense in my old age, but I thought I
read that when you are entering the PL tones, that when you get to a certain
point, you can type the tone in on the microphone keypad. Is this true? If
so, can someone please give me the exact keystroke sequence to do this. I
can in fact enter the tones by trial and error as follows:

1.  press and hold the function key for one second;
2.  press the tone button;
3.  tune the main tuning dial or the up/down microphone keys;
4.  key the microphone to see if you have selected the proper tone;
5. Eventually you will hit the proper tone.

It sure would be easy if there indeed was a method of entering them from the
microphone keypad.
