Mine is pretty close to walkman. I have a home unit too which I use more but 
they say I can leave my portable on the home stand a lot and only take it 
out when I use it if I want with out hurting the battery so I might get rid 
of the home one and start doing that. On vacation the portable is all I'll 
have anyway, it sure did a good job for me last year. I like XM, I sure hate 
to have to switch but with NASCAR coverage doing to Sirius, I'll have to.
