Subject: looking for multi band radio

I am new to the list and I am going to take my test for the technician
class license either at the beginning of july or ant the beginning of
August. My name is Gery Gaubert and I live in Louisiana about 25 miles
west of New Orleans. I am looking for a radio that is accessible by
blind persons just starting out. Any help is appreciated. I also plan
to take my code test around october and get certified as a general class
by next year. I already have a radio someone is holding for me for
that. A kenwood 940. Any input on this radio would be great also.
