Louis,
I understand your frustration.  It was difficult to do the initial setup to 
get speech to work without help.In addition to what John says below, when 
counting clicks through the menu choices, note that some numbers are 
skipped.  So, to get to #18, it's *NOT* 17 clicks but fewer than that.  I 
have a list of which numbers are skipped but not with me at work today. 
Also, I did have to change the upper right microphone button to be the enter 
key.
