Man! By the time everything got added up, and I was told I could not switch
to Direct TV, which was a part of the overall package, which threw me into a
different rate category, I wasn't going to save all that much money. Plus,
my first month's bill was going to be over double my regular bill. Plus, if
I wanted a technician to come and install everything, it was 59.95 for the
trip charge and a 149.95 to do the install. The DSL modem was either 100
dollars up front or 8 dollars a month. So, in short, it wasn't worth all
the trouble. The final price would have been about 30 dollars a month
savings. I can save more than that by going to digital voice over phone and
changing my Dish Network service to something lower. Plus I don't have to
change my email address now. If you are considering such a change, ask a
bunch of questions.

Phil.
