because 5.8GHZ phones are just so very very interesting Lou!
But your right, there should have initially been an OT in front of the 5.8
thread as there was with the cordless phone thread.
Its really too bad that none of the 46/49MHZ phones had the digital
incription as the 900MHZ phones and all the modern ones do.
If they had tried that, we would still be able to use that band and get the
awesome range it provided.
Of course, 4 megs of band width compared to the nearly 30 or 40 that the
newer spectrums offer doesn't allow for very much band spacing in a crowded
urban area.
