The A slash B button and the A equals B buttons have totally separate
functions....however, the functions they do are similar in nature, so i
guess kenwood decided that since they are similar in nature, they would
label the buttons similarly.
For instance, the A slash B button will switch between V F O A and V F O B,
and the A equals B button will set the two V F O's to the same frequency,
similar function, but not the same.
If you reed the TS-2000 manual from www.icanworkthisthing.com
you can gain a much better understanding of the different functions all the
front panel buttons can do including the A slash B and A equals B buttons.
To get a good working knoledge of the TS-2000, the manual is pretty vital.
Its pretty long, but if you take it a couple steps at a time, you can easily
get through it and find the info that you need.
