Martin,

Your info is accurate as it applies to microwave repeaters.  However, the
information I posted from the FCC order for sirius states it operates on the
2.32 to 2.3325 GHz band, not on the KU band.

There are satellite tracking and telemetry downlinks on 4.2GHz and uplink in
the 6.4GHz range.
