Hi Jeff,
If you keep an eye on the Weather channel, they're tracking things well and
can give you info. Also, if you wish to listen to 14.225 MHz you can hear
the traffic to/from the Hurricane Center in Miami, and its relay stations
(remember that this is a directed net and they will not welcome unnecessary
traffic).
The Hurricane hasn't "hit" anywhere in the U.S. yet, it won't until the
morning, though we will begin to feel its effects tonight. Already we are
getting a breeze here and some very light, occasional rain.

Subject: any hams on here in the SouthWest Florida region?
Hi everyone, I am just wondering if there are any hams in the Lee County,
Florida area on this list? I have some relatives who are currently down
there in Fort Myers and am just wondering where they are in terms of the
hurricane, and if it has hit in that area at all yet?
