what are you trying to do with packet? if you're just doing VHF packet as I
am, just a basic terminal program is enough and works with jaws, terreterm
or hyperterminal, I've used both, if you're looking at HF, again it depends
on what you're trying to do though I've used the same programs for most
things using the basic TNC.

Hi everyone, I think that people will still continue to operate CW if they
so choose, but as far as it being a requirement, I think that it is on its
way out the door.  What packet modes work the best with JAWS, and what
software, and equipment should I get if I would like to work packet?
