Hi Holly,

The 35 amp supply won't burn the radio up.  Remember a device connected to a 
power supply will only draw enough current for its requirements.  The TMG-7A 
probably will draw less than 10 amps in high power.  If you can swing it its 
always good to have a high capacity power supply to accommodate all your dc 
power needs for now and any other dc operated equipment you may get in the 
future.
