Hi Jim:

I have been a ham for over 52 years now and dreamed, at one time, of owning 
one of those NC300.
They came out around 1960 and the NC303 came out a year or so later.
They had a slide rule dial which I thought was great!
Jim, I think you find that these receivers were tube type, not solid state.
That was a bit early for that technology.
