I've never had a problem with that command, I always keep an old version
around in case of a problem and usually set up on the opposite sound card
from the main version of jaws so as to not be stuck if, as happened to me
once, my sound card driver gets corrupted. Another reason, I have to keep
6.2 on this computer because that stupid thing where we're forced in to MSAA
for menus and stuff, and all the RT system software, winpack, and probably a
few other programs, with 7.0, they don't read the menus so I have to go back
to 6.2 to use those programs on this computer. I wish they gave a choice but
I was pretty much told, that's the future so like it and live with it when I
complained.
