Hi Pat,

I just bought a Kenwood TMD700a and I've downloaded the manual from Kenwood,
but I haven't gotten it on the air yet. What is Airmail and Winlink? I
guess I really need to get up to speed!

Subject: [BLIND-HAMS] more questions on hamradio deluxe and airmail works
with speech

I installed hamradio deluxe but I'm wondering if I should uninstall and wait
till I have the interface it needs. Also, airmail which is used to interact
with winlink does work with speech. What you have to do is reclass the
focus window and everything comes to life. Winlink by itself works
beautifully with no modifications needed. Now I'll need to get telpac
working till I can afford the tnc that airmail supports. 73- pat kk3f
