Hi all on list.
Was able to renew through the FCC web site. It takes a few pages to get the
job done, but patience is needed. Handihams has many features that will
work with ALL disabilities. As for my handicap, I feel it is only a small
inconvenience. It only takes me a little longer to do the same things that
a sighted person can do. If you give me a open space, I can drive for miles
without hitting anything, same thing with open water. Often thought that it
would be cool to have a bunch of blind Hams doing a Demo derby and using a
radio and a sighted spotter to direct via Ham radio. All the others due is
to drive forward and back and hitting someone else. Everyone have a great
start for the New year!!!
