there's just an on/off for the preamp, the battery compartment as far as I
remember was, a rectangular cover on the bottom of the mic with 1 screw in
it if I recall, if not then you take all 4 corner screws out but I think
that one had the rectangle cover on the bottom with 1 screw in it to take
out. If you use it on a Kenwood radio though you don't need batteries. If
it's not Kenwood, then make very sure to shut the preamp off when you're
done using it each time or the batteries will be dead in no time.

Hi everyone;
I tried scanning the instructions for a new mc60a but there was more spanish
french etc than english. At any rate, Which screws are removed to get to
the battery compartment? Secondly is there a volume control that I haven't
found or just an on or off for the preamp?
