The gourmet cooks may find this story amusing so it is not directed at
them.
My wife is such a cook but this is so easy. My support group loved this
story
because many of the men are not cooks, like myself.
A few months ago they started selling Vans, all natural, frozen g/f
waffles in
our base commissary. I was shocked. We got some and I started eating
breakfast
for lunch with butter and sugar free syrup. One day my wife asked why I
didn't
make a sandwich out of them. I was skeptical, but put two in the toaster
oven and
toasted to a light brown. I put on the mayo, meat cheese etc and had the
best sandwich
I have had in 10 years. It didn't tear apart and the best part is that
they are always
frozen, or I keep a box of 6 in the fridge till they are used up. The rest
stay frozen.
I told this story to Van's by email www.vanswaffles and they sent me free
coupons
and said to email them every 6 months. One person has told me that she is
sensitive to, soy flour, which is one of the ingredients. Wal-Mart sells
Vans for 1.89
but you may have to talk to the frozen foods guy. Hopefully this will
help someone
make a hoagie sandwich.
