Thanks for all the great responses to my question about which oats to try.  Most people said they have eaten McCann's without any problems, though 2 people have reacted to it.  Several mentioned that while McCann's is usually tolerated, I should be aware that I would be taking a risk by using them b/c of the chance of cross-contamination.  One person said they did OK with Quaker but many more said not to try Quaker b/c of the high risk of contamination.  Many people also mentioned the two new companies making GF oats: Cream Hill Estates in Canada, and a place in Wyoming (website is glutenfreeoats.com).  Another person said they have eaten Country Choice oats without any problems.
