Some time ago, quite some time ago, I asked for prayer concerning an uncle
of mine who dealt with throat cancer. Recently he was admitted to the
hospital with muscle spasms, breathing difficulty and eventually caught
pneumonia. He was doing pretty good, kicked the pneumonia, getting feisty
to get out and wanting to go home, they did send him home. My mom called
last night and said he passed on. I don't know what the exact cause was,
perhaps he just got tired of fighting the health issues he had over the
past 5 years or so. I know yawls heart and condolences so no need to
reply but if you would keep his kids and family in prayer during this
tough time. I was hoping to go visit him after he got home. I hadn't seen
him in a number of years. He was responsible for my interest in guitar and
was my initial inspiration and encouragement. He was special to me because
I doubt I'd have even thought of guitar were it not for his influence,
plus he was just a cool guy. I had hoped to let him know just how much his
influence was, but that is my own doing, a lesson learned in communicating
with loved ones. Anyway I'm at peace with that aspect of it, and it's not
about me anyway. he's got a passel of grandkids as a credit to his being
here and his wife will be quite busy with them I'd guess to keep her busy.
I pray it draws others closer to God.

Brad
