Have you ever tried fried chicken fried in bacon grease? Oh, MAN! 
It's some of the best chicken I've ever eaten! My husband was 
originally born down in Kentucky, but he lived in Illinois, Texas, 
Arizona, and back to Illinois again. Illinois borders on Kentucky, so 
there's a lot of Southern folks there. Actually we got the idea of 
frying chicken in bacon grease from an old record John had around the 
house called "Down The Road Apiece", but I can't remember who it was 
by. One of those Boogie-woogie songs, ya know?
