Carol,

Lear leaves Saturday morning early.  He will fly that morning with our field 
rep to California.

I spoke to his puppy raisers by phone, and they seem nice.  They have a 
five-year-old golden retriever for Lear to play with, as well as eight and 
twelve-year-old kids.  The boy who raised Lear is actually in his early 20's 
and is a student living at home.  There wil lbe a lot of people to give Lear 
love.
