I never heard the "schoolbus" reference when I used to listen to Mike, but 
maybe he added it later during the period that I didn't have a 
ham-band-capable receiver. I _do_ seem to recall having heard the story 
about someone sabotaging his coax, though.

in his town got so worked up over his antics, that somebody sneaked into his
yard one night and drove a pin through his coax, but I have no way of
