The Grammar of Interlingua forwarded by Gode & Blair, was designed for
"transbarrilingual" comprehension with Romance Language speakers, but for
that reason carries with it some of the complex baggage and mixed-up rules
which have resulted from that. It is the best format for the "nascent" stage
of Interlingua use, and might be referred to as the "Prime" or "Bridge" or "
G.B." (Gode-Blair) Format, should any future developments or reforms gain
currency.

I would suggest that if Interlingua ever attained popular use as an
auxiliary language (for whatever reason), that a further development could
take place, establishing the language in a more neutral format, with its own
validity, retaining much of its transbarrilingual character, but removing
those aspects which cause grammatical rule irregularities and perhaps
politically incorrect vocabulary into the mix, creating a language of
further crystalline beauty (in its grammatical rules) and of broader appeal
in political useage.
