Oh ya, I've tried it on 3 computers, and I"m not the only one, the July
update fixed it for many, but if you look on the jfw list there are still a
few with that problem. I check the archives and saw some one ask about that
just last week or the week before in fact and a lot of people use Eudora or
outlook so probably wouldn't even know they have the problem. I've had the
problem since the betas, my old computer, this one, and my laptop all had
the same problem with 7.1 and I did everything you could think of, usually
more than once including completely stumping some one at the development
team at FS. Anyway, I know of at least 4 or 5 others with the same problem
and there are no even remote similarities in our computers, I was looking
for anything that might help figure it out. My computer has a lot of toys in
it but it's nothing out of the ordinary really beyond that. I work on
computers all the time, not many have jaws on them, but point being, I've
tried the reinstalls, the complete removal and reinstalls, running it with
complete default settings changing every setting I could think of, and the
SAPI 5 synth did seem to fix it but who wants to listen to that voice all
the time, it's gotta be a bug in the program somewhere unless something
doesn't like the way 7.1 and 8 get info from the system. 7.0 works no
problem and 6.2 which I have still because I need it with a few programs,
and on old computers I've never had this problem. I'll have to call again I
guess and get some one who'll just ask me to do everything I've done a
million times I guess and not come up with anything if I feel like wasting
time to try to fix this.
