I am told that stringing secondary contacts together doesn't do us any good, 
because none of the afore mentioned models speak the secondary string of 
numbers.  So that feature wouldn't help us anyway.

Some say that the speech on the 5200 is better, but it adds a digital camera 
which most of us wouldn't use.
