Hi list:
This is a question to all of you who have used, or who are using the ts
2000.
I recently came across a peace of software that allows user defined filter
settings. In other words, you can set up a set of parameters in the
software, then send them to the radio and use the "user" setting when
selecting dsp filter options.
Has anyone played around with this software? It was developed by n3gx
specifically for the ts2000. It says it has no affect on the radio at
large, just on the tx and rx filter settings and can easily be removed and
the radio set back to original configuration...the filter settings can be
opened up to 3.3K on tx and 4.0K on RX....something only really relevant to
an operator interested in ESSB or increased audio dynamics.
