I think we've all done that. That is gotten caught up in something and
then realized "What the heck am I doing this for", and then just stop and
move on. Whether it's trying to work out a certain something in life
yourself instead of just following God's voice or Word, or whatever,
sometimes we just need to distance ourselves from a problem and see how
we've gotten caught up in it.

Thanks Brad. I want to swim to the shore and that's what I'm gonna do!
Thanks for your encouragement. I need it!

Carol,
I agree. In fact one has to look at the big picture. It would be one thing
if we just had to field questions or concerns for this code thing, but in
comes the Gospel of Judas and the myriad of immoral rights activists, and
the whole lot. added up I can see the enemy adding one more weight to the
back just waiting to see if that one will be the last one your faith can
carry. And as the weight gets heavier one finds themselves pondering more
on the defense of truth than progressing in truth itself. Liken this
barrage of doubting darts to swimming in a river upstream, sure one can
hold their own but sooner or later you may begin to doubt your ability a
and you back off a bit, and now to gain that same ground again you find
you need to work harder in your already exhausted body, in comes more
doubt and before you know it one thinks why am I fighting this maybe the
current is the right way and I'm fighting truth. I say, swim to the shore,
get out and walk up stream and don't be bothered with the current at all.
I never forget the scripture that says... "even the elect will be
deceived". The mind is a powerful thing, it has the ability to cause your
body to raise and lower your blood sugar and in cases of multiple
personality people have witnessed even eye color change, and the enemy
knows of this power too, the ability to ration just about anything and if
he presents enough of his case and makes it convincing enough, he knows
he'll get his foot in the door. We as Christians must not be mindless
robots, but we know the truth based on god's word, much has been proven
scientifically for anyone who is of that mind to have it proven, so
conjuring up some code through what an artists work? Is that right? lol I
don't even know what it is about. But anyway yes study truth and deception
will stand out like a buoy on a sea of glass.

Hi Brad,
They are thoughts that are a comfort to me right now as I need just to
stay focussed on truth. If you're strong enough and feel you have some
kind of input to the world as a result of learning these things then
"fine" I say, but otherwise just leave them alone!

A wise man of God once told me if I focus on the truth, I'll not have need
to worry about falacy as it crops up, it will show itself trickery and
falacy without trying to see where it falls sour. I personally don't give
two rips about this code thing, and have no desire to watch, read or get
into it. Why bother at all subjecting oneself to deception. It is just
the enemy trying to undermine the truth, which he can't do, too much
history already has proven the Bible to be truth, and so they have to try
to create some invented methodology to try to defeat truth. This has been
for centuries and will be until the end of time and likely more frequently
and more often and more convincing if one buys into it. My advice? Don't
bother with it. If you have someone who is questioning its validity, refer
them to the resources listed and don't bother debating it with anyone who
is absorbed in its falacy. Those wishing to debate it are discussed in
Proverbs as mockers and fools in which you just let them to their own
devices and trying to argue only wastes your time and aggravates all
involved. Really it causes some to dig in deeper to trying to prove falacy
to be truth and more resistant to truth. Just my thoughts.

I listened to both parts of Focus on the family and Dr. Dobson said he
will not read or see that movie and though I am curious I've learned at
least in this instance its better not to go digging where the dirt is too
deep for me.
