Rhonda,
Emailing from my parents place on dial up but thought to respond. I agree
it is good at least now you know where things are sitting. It isn't always
easy to do that but more often than not, I always like to know news even
if it isn't what I like to hear, cause at least my mind stops concocting
things that are worse, and the issues at hand can be addressed and move
forwrd. I'm sure Ben appreciates the encouragement, even if he doesn't
admit it or seem like it, I'm sure the news isn't what he wanted to hear
either. You can always rely on us to help with encouragement for what it
is worth. Have you checked into possibilities of a pancreas transplant?
Years ago a counselor of mine had it done, back when it was experimentqal
and was no longer diabetic, and I've heard of others since who have had it
done. It doesn't come free of risk nor do I know if you need a certain
kind of insurance but might be worth checking into as well. Hang in there
if there is anything I can do let me know, I'll continue praying.

I do appreciate that...he can qualify for Medicar4e now...but it doesn't
pay everything...I see from looking on the Medicare site it seems to pay
80
0ercent..perhaps if he can do home treatment that's not so expensive, it
could be expensive if he had to pay 20 percent of treatments three times a
week.
All of this seems scarry to me, 13 percent...it is hard for me not to
worry,
to wonder what we will do about paying for things and just trust God, and
leave those worries and unspoken fears with Him...I am trying to be
encouraging for Ben's sake, and get the strength I need from our God,
Rhonda
