LOL, Ned, I had surgery for that deviated septum and promptly fell on my 
face about a month afterwords so probably undid all that was did.  LOL. 
And, when you have that surgery, they stick this cotton up your nose and you 
have no taste.  A friend of mine describing the packing as like having 
elephant tampons stuck up your nose.  I laughed so hard when he told me that 
that I about blew them out.  Ouch!  Anyway, no, you are not in the mood for 
that crazy surgery.  Mine came from having superficial vains that caused 
lots of nose bleeds especially when I was a kid.  Now that I think of it, I 
think surgeries like that go through fads where they are really popular and 
then not so popular because everybody I knew seemed to have something wrong 
with their nose back when I had the surgery.  Hmmm, now that has interesting 
connotations, doesn't it?  *Grin*
