I always took it as greater in number, not greater in deed, but I might
well be wrong, but I'm careful not to just change a belief at the turning
of the wind. Let's say we have a scale from 1 to 10 in the area of "power"
of deed. One is noticing a brother has an issue and some sort of action is
taken, and 9 is standing at a casket saying "Get up" and the person gets
up. That's pretty impressive on one's spiritual resume by the way. Perhaps
it is wrong of me but I don't see a human exceeding that, or for that
matter I've yet to see a documented occasion of that personally. I don't
even think we humans quite understand the greatness of Christ dying for us,
which is the number 10 in my book, I think we will be surprised one day.
So Jesus let's say performed works ranging from 1 to 9 as man here on
Earth, well as man as he could be having been born of God and man, anyway,
I tend to think we here on Earth could be used of God similarly, I mean I
think it is possible, I see the word saying such, but yet we don't see
evidence of it. So that too, is where some frustration might come in
regarding blindness. If it is possible, and aside from thought that God
wants me blind, it gets me to thinking I'm living as a blind person
unnecessarily. I mean if God gets glory, Jesus said greater works than
these you will do, and etc. I'm wondering... OK? Why not then. But that is
a selfish perspective to a point, but then we'd likely feel the same if we
had no home to live in. Some things we can tangibly and pro actively make a
difference under our own volition and some things are not. And we also
need to keep in mind the enemy will become powerful too having signs and
wonders too. Care in what one involves themselves in is critical and needs
to be grounded in the Word of God, and not just look at the signs and
wonders, which is what I believe David on list here was saying too.
