I've got a friend I go fishing with once and a while who is known as St.
Mary's Miracle. I think that is the name of the hospital. Anyway he caught
some uncurable virus from a police partner who served in Desert Storm,
they pretty much told him he would be a gonner as they removed his life
support, and they had to because he was on oxygen so long they already
figured his lungs were burnt to a crisp, his feet began to atrophy, and he
was not good. Folks prayed, laid hands on him and etc. and as they
gradually removed the life support, turned down his oxygen and etc. he got
stronger and stronger and stronger and by the end of the week he was
walking flowers up to the nurses station. The doctor didn't even charge
his fee because he stated it was a miracle in which he had nothing to do
with, so couldn't charge him.
