bad or wrong memory. Belarc should see it if valid. Bad spot in motherboard, bad RAM, wrong RAM, or BIOS not recognizing. It is usually the simpler thing. Did you try exchanging the two RAMs to see if they read individually? if so, IDK.

Belarc shows this, which confuses me:
8126 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory
Slot 'DIMM_1' is Empty
Slot 'DIMM_3' is Empty
Slot 'DIMM_2' has 4096 MB
Slot 'DIMM_4' is Empty
If I only have 4GB, why does it tell me 8GB, and vice versa?
