I am not familiar with this particular printer. However, I have found that
InkTek refills work extremely well with HP56 and HP57 cartridges, for a
different printer. Several refills are available from InkTek for your
printer. Based on my previous experience with other cartridges, I think
this is worth a try, and would save you a large amount of money.
There are two different black cartridges; I'm not sure whether the ink is
the same, for your your printer.
I have refilled a cartridge world cartridge at least 10 times for my
PSC2175. It is still working like new. Color refill (limited experience)
worked also. I wonder if this is a way to get around a "chip".
Other refills in past years did not work this well, for other printers. I
did have trouble trying to refill an HP932C.
I hesitate to make a more specific recommendation, but I have found
"4inkjets" to give exemplary service, and free shipping for 50.00 orders.
They have grey and photo refills also for your printer.
