I guess i answered it, but here it is again:
press and hold the button on the far left of the 3 buttons on the front of
the meter.
This will put the meter into the mode that will give you a tone that will
increase with higher power, and decrease as you lower the power.
to get out of this mode just press the button momentarily or wait about 20
or 30 seconds.
