I use ham radio deluxe and I have no trouble tabbing around selecting what I
need. However if scripts existed for it, I'd appreciate it as well. My
understanding as far as the availability of jaws scripts go, most often it's
for more main stream software. So for abstract things like ham radio deluxe
and echolink-- which is probably at minimal demand by the masses, you might
not find them. Ham radio deluxe is quite accessible though. I'm using it to
run my icom 735 and I can pretty much control everything using the keyboard.
I almost don't even have to touch the radio. As a matter of fact, you can
tab to a selection which would put your radio in to tx for you. Often as
well if you goof and you hit a wrong function you can cancel it by hitting
escape. If I required any help with ham radio deluxe it was just simply
connecting the interface together. At first, my radio wouldn't respond to
the program. Actually I may require some minor external help getting this
thing to program ten metre frequencies or at least, split frequency
operation. Not that I have any real use for off set frequencies, but it's
remotely interesting. You hear a lot of split frequency operation in
contests. I've never really made it a point to chase any of those, perhaps
it will be a small project when I'm bored. After all, they're making us wait
for the final rap up of the Sopranos on tmn (hi
hi).!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Subject: JAWS for Ham Radio Deluxe?

Hello Group,

Has someone , or is anyone currently working on scripts to use Ham
Radio Deluxe to improve its accessibility? I know this question has
been asked before but I don't remember anyone with specific
information as to whether or not someone has done this or is
currently working on it. I'm considering giveing it a shot and I
don't want to duplicate any work that may have already been done.

Thanks,
