both the TM V7A and the G707 are fifty watts on high, 25 on medium and 5 on
low...all adjustible with the service menu mod.
They have fairly decent audio quality on receive, though with the TM V7A,
the TX audio is quite low...again adjustable with the service menu mod.
You just have to eat the mike to get enough audio out of it.
Awesome radios both of them though.
If you use an external speaker, or a pair of them to separate out the VHF
and UHF audio channels, it does work very well indeed.
