Well, probably any data and artist info won't be accessible.

In my o[pinion, it is a last-gasp effort by the National association of
Broadcasters to save a dying medium; particularly AM radio.  If they can't
provide a high-fidelity noise-free listening experience to motorists, they
will lose a huge chunk of the market either to MP3 and recorded music and
satellite radio services.

Since AM listers are fairly unsophisticated, the digital AM will provide at
least FM quality stereo and if digital FM takes off, it will be supposedly
CD quality with the ability to piggyback several other broadcast and/or data
streams.  This could be anything from Muzak type services, traffic and
weather data, data streams such as news headlines, stock quotes, etc.
