I had a very good experience at the Woodberry Inn -
milepost 174.1 on Blue Ridge Parkway in Floyd County,
VA. They are a small place 16 rooms. The restaurant is
only open on Friday, Sat, and Sunday evening for
people not staying at the Inn. We had no reservations
and I was expecting to have to settle for a salad. The
chef came out from the kitchen after I send my card
back. She said give me a minite or to to do some quick
checking. Then she came back with a meal sugestion.
Salamon, grilled vegestables that she would do in a
small pan on the grill, since other things were grilled
on grill, baked potato with cheese and a side of
balsamic vinager to use on the potato (sounds strange
but it was good). The food was great. I would recomend
this place to anyone in the area.
