I think you left an a out of that Phil.

Anyway I've always wondered if it isn't that swooping sound
you hera going through 80-75 meters at night.  from dusk to
dawn you'll hear it many nights.
lIstening on lsb it rises in pitch and then drops awy, kind
of a dopler effect thing such as a moving vehicle present
acoustically.  sEems to me it swims up the band.

WHat I wonder is why we can't get the nato digial station
off 3678 kilohertz.  I thought that section of 80 meters was
ham radio worldwide.
