Ah yes I waited til I could get one with the tt pad installed.  Later I
sent it back for a  motorola belt clip and the adition of a tnc antenna
connecter for external use.  I was in Mars and found out I could run the
rig on the vhf frequencey as well so escaped the repeater stuff.

Do you remember the Tempo s1, the first synthesized ht?  I thought I
went to 
heaven when I got it.  No more crystals.
