I had a 22c which was the second 2 m rig I bought after the t43ggv and
regency 2b. It was my first portable radio while I was a Junior in
college. The tlescoping antenna broke so I made a drop in replacement
with a couple of peices of brass tubing which I friction fit to the
radio. Others with this radio simply used a rubber duck hanging off the
so239 on the bottem of the radio. worked great.

That brings back a memory or two. What ever happened to the nice
simple
tr22? It was nice unless you wanted to try a repeater that you didn't
have
a crystal for. It did bring back a memory or two.
