A couple of weeks ago I posted a question about Enterolab and why they
have not published. Since then, there have been a few messages to the
list about their intention to publish in 2006. I just wanted to write
with the few other comments I received.
Of the people who had used them, (only a few wrote), all seemed to feel
their results were consistent with other tests or symptoms.
One person had, some time ago, spoken with a nationally known researcher
who told her that Dr. Fine's initial study was done on a relatively small
number of people, and then he took his technique and opened up for
business. I also heard that he has been working on obtaining a patent on
his technique before publishing.
Mostly I received comments also wondering about the validity of his
technique and questioning the science if he had not published.
I think the overwhelming sentiment, including my own, is that what he
says, certainly sounds plausible, and we all hope that when he publishes,
that his method will stand up to scientific scrutiny, and this will
enlarge the options for people seeking answers to tough questions.
