Hi Adrienne,
I have very dry skin on my arms and dry flaky skin on my legs below the
knees - not just the shins. Paleo alone does not help in my case. I started
taking 1 tablespoon of Carlson's Fish or Cod oil daily and that helps a
little.
However, I may not be the best person to go by. I have mercury toxicity,
leaky gut, food intolerances, a parasite, and viruses. I am also taking 3
Armour Thyroid per day which is fairly high. I have been getting chelation
since January and my doctor feels confident that once the toxins are out, I
can get off the hormones, or at least reduce them drastically. I feel much,
much better now then I did a few months ago so I know things are working. I
am hopeful that the dry skin will improve as well as my body continues to
heal.
