Phil,
Is the Power Team, those guys who are really muscular who go around
doing dumb stunts and then talk about Jesus? Do they go by other
names? We had some guys like that here in Bangor a few weeks ago
called, "Team Impact." Caleb and Liz went to it because they thought
that the stunts were cool. Greg and I went one night just to
see. The message was very basic and, I wasn't very impressed, but
maybe I'm just kind of staugy or something. It isn't the way that
I'd bring someone to Christ, but I do know someone whose brother did
become a Christian from Team Impact's presentation. The more
ministries that I get exposed too, the more amazed I become at the
creativity of God.
