I listened to Focus On The Family and heard my friend Toni talking about
Christian and how she first heard that her daughter had cancer. I have
often read that verse that says weep with those who weep, and wondered how
crying with someone would do any good, as I listened to her talk, I could
hear the tears in her voice, being a mother myself, I could only imagine the
pain, the uunanswerable questions, and the tiredness that comes from
waiting for more test results. I sat here in front of my computer tears
falling from my eyes, while I prayed for this girl who used to spend the
night with Christa sometimes. I prayed for all who are going through these
sort of tough situations.
I sent my friend an email message, telling her that there were many who were
praying for Christian and the whole family. If you want to listen you can
go to www.oneplace.com and find the focus on the family link!
I'd appreciate your continued prayers for Christian, the bone marrow
transplant is scheduled for Feb. 8 unless something changes.
