I've had this problem before with other laptops.....

These parts can be soldered back together; however, you had better be very
careful. Some laptops have the AC plug-in in a pretty fixed, unserviceable
location while others may require disassembly of the laptop that will
require you to diagram which parts went where so that you can be sure to put
it back together again after you solder.
I might suggest you take the laptop to an electronics repair (ie: TV, stereo
or other) place where soldering is quite common and see what they think.
