FYI-

I recently posted a question about the possible connection between
gluten intolerance and stuttering. (Thanks to all who responded. I will
summarize when I get a minute). In my posting I listed some issues that
have shown up in our family which I thought might point to possible
gluten sensitivity. One issue was alcaholism. After posting my question
I received a handful of questions asking on what authority I had
included alcaholism as a symptom. The reason for suggesting such a
connection is that the intake form for the Enterolab intolerance tests
asks if there is alcaholism in the family of the person being tested.
When I read this I asked someone at Enterolab if that question on the
form implied that they find is a connection between gluten intolerance
and alcaholism. The reply from Enterolab was that Dr. Fine is wondering
if this might be so and is currently researching the question.

Initially intended to reply to only those who wrote questionning me -
but then thought the answer might be of interest to some others as well.

Jeannie
