My daughter has noticed a persistent strange taste in her mouth since
giving up wheat/gluten a week ago. She is just being tested by Enterolab
for Celiac so no definite diagnosis yet. I know people can sometimes
sense a metallic taste when they are detoxing from heavy metals. Is
there any equivalent reaction when just giving up gluten??

Thanks in advance to anyone who has an idea of what she might be
experiencing.
