Hi,

After a recent crash (C drive failure) the local PC Clinic installed Grisoft/AVG Anti Virus software. There is a free download and an upgrade Pro version. As part of this software there is an e-mail scanner.

Although the ISP server maintains all of my mail box intact I am having problems with the AVG e-mail scanner wiping all of the data from some of my mails when delivered to Outlook Express. The "wiped" mails do not contain viruses and can be either text or graphic based mails. There seems to be no logic to which get delivered to my Outlook express Incoming box but containing no data and those that do. It is driving me to distraction.

I, of course, get no response from AVG. Has anyone seen this problem and if so, what are settings that cause it.

regards
Richard Stevens
